JOY S.p.A. markets and resells all products featured on this website and guarantees that every item for sale is authentic.
The products sold are therefore subject to rigorous quality control standards.

All orders are subject to verification of availability and acceptance.

The receipt by Profumidipolignano.com of the order, transmitted by the customer through electronic means, constitutes the conclusion of the contract. Upon conclusion of the contract, Profumidipolignano.com undertakes to supply the customer with the products ordered, under the terms and conditions set out in these Conditions, without prejudice to the right not to process orders from parties who do not provide sufficient guarantees of solvency or who do not fall within the aforementioned category of "end consumer", or where, for any reason, the product ordered is not available for sale.

By submitting an order, the customer unconditionally accepts and undertakes to comply, in its dealings with Profumidipolignano.com, with all provisions contained in these Conditions.

The submission of the order therefore implies the full knowledge and total and unconditional acceptance by the customer of these Conditions, as well as of any further information contained in the web pages of the site referred to herein and/or connected via links.

1.  Payment Information

1.1  Payment Methods

The item purchased must be paid for at the time of completion of the purchase transaction via PayPal, credit card, or cash on delivery.

1.2  PayPal

You may choose to pay with PayPal in a simple and secure way, through your own PayPal account. To link your credit card with a PayPal account and for more information, click here. Profumidipolignano.com reserves the right to process the order only if the data registered for the PayPal account matches the billing and shipping details of the order.

1.3  Credit Card

For your orders on Profumidipolignano.com, you can pay easily and securely by credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.

1.4  Cash on Delivery

Profumidipolignano.com offers the option to choose cash on delivery as a payment method. Payment is made in cash upon delivery (the courier does not accept cheques and does not give change) and is available for orders up to a maximum amount of €2,999. The service is available only within Italy. Should the shipment of an order placed with cash on delivery fail for reasons attributable to the customer, Profumidipolignano.com reserves the right not to process any further orders using the same payment method. This service is offered at an additional cost of €5.

2  Shipping Information

2.1  Shipping Costs – ITALY

Shipments within Italy are made via GLS or BRT courier.
Shipping is free for orders over €50. Otherwise, the cost is €5.
As required by the laws governing commerce, all Profumidipolignano.com shipments are accompanied by an official invoice declaring the value of each item in Euros.

2.2  Shipping Costs – INTERNATIONAL

International shipments are made via GLS Parcel Europe, BRT/DPD, or DHL courier.

Within EU countries the shipping cost is €15, but it is free on a minimum order of €130.

For Non-EU countries, orders are shipped at a cost of €50.

For shipments to non-European countries, the average delivery time is 5/10 working days. Should customs hold the parcel for inspection, delivery may take longer, for reasons not attributable to Profumidipolignano.com.

As required by the laws governing commerce, all Profumidipolignano.com shipments are accompanied by an official invoice declaring the value of each item in Euros.

2.3  Shipping Date

We ship on the same day all orders received by 12:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. If the order is placed on a holiday or on the day before a holiday, the parcel will be shipped on the next working day.

From the time of shipment, the delivery times are as follows:

• 1-2 working days in Italy (+1 day for Sicily and Sardinia)
• 4-5 working days in the European Union
• 5-10 working days in Non-EU countries.

2.4 Order Status

At the time of order shipment, Profumidipolignano.com sends its customers an email containing the tracking number provided by the courier. Customers can track the status of their order directly on the courier's website. The web page displayed will show the exact and up-to-date movements of your shipment.

2.6  Authorised Delivery of the Shipment

Upon delivery of the goods, customers are asked to carefully inspect the parcel before signing as proof of receipt of the shipment. Profumidipolignano.com packages are carefully wrapped and sealed with adhesive tape. If for any reason the package appears to have been tampered with or the adhesive tape is not intact, customers are asked to sign for receipt with reservation in order to subsequently open a claim with the courier. Should delivery be accepted with an unauthorised signature or should there be evidence of tampering with the parcel, customers are asked to immediately report the incident to the local GLS/BRT office and to contact Profumidipolignano.com at the email address info@profumidipolignano.com. Profumi di Polignano.com does not, under any circumstances, accept complaints regarding parcels potentially tampered with by the courier if, upon receipt of the parcel, the buyer has not signed with reservation.

2.7  Shipment Holding

In the event of failed delivery, the courier automatically sends the sender – Profumidipolignano.com – the holding case file, which indicates the reason for the non-delivery and the request for instructions for release.
The customer also has the option to view the holding case file and the status of their order directly on the courier's website.
Profumidipolignano.com reserves the right to request the return of the goods after 5 working days have elapsed, in the absence of instructions from the end customer.
A maximum holding period of 15 days is provided for at the nearest courier branch.

2.8 Shipment Insurance 

At checkout, the system automatically adds the insurance service to the cart at a cost of €4 or €6 (depending on the order value).

The insurance service protects the customer in the event of theft, loss, damage, or errors attributable to the express courier.

In the circumstances described above – subject to verification with Customer Service – the seller undertakes to arrange a new shipment of the missing or damaged products.

Should the customer deselect the insurance option (which is automatically suggested) by unchecking the relevant box, the refund or replacement services described above are not guaranteed to the customer under any circumstances.

3.  Returns and Refunds

3.1  Information regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal – Right of withdrawal and Effects

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform JOY S.p.A. (registered office: Via del lavoro 13, Pergola, email address: info@profumidipolignano.com) of your decision to withdraw from the contract through an explicit declaration.

Pursuant to articles 64 et seq. of Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, the Customer has the right to withdraw without any penalty and without specifying the reason, within fourteen days from the day on which the Customer or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by the Customer, acquires physical possession of the goods.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. If you withdraw from this contract, you will be reimbursed for all payments made to us, excluding delivery costs and any cash-on-delivery fees, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. Such reimbursements will be made using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. The refund is suspended until the goods are received by the seller.

Please return the goods to JOY S.p.A., Via del lavoro 13, Pergola, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the day on which you communicated your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired. The cost of returning the goods will be borne by you. Products that have been opened and sprayed for the first time cannot be returned.

From the moment the goods are returned to JOY S.p.A., in order to proceed with the refund it will be necessary to verify that the goods have not been tampered with and/or altered in any way that would compromise their future/immediate resale.

Should the product therefore prove unsellable, it will be returned at our expense to its rightful owner.

The refund will in any case be net of any other costs or fees incurred by JOY S.p.A. in connection with the sale.

3.2  Return of an incorrect product

In the event of a delivery error, i.e. in the case of delivery of an incorrect product, our customer service will contact the customer to arrange the collection of the wrong parcel by express courier, proceeding only subsequently with the redelivery of the correct product.

If the customer refuses the redelivery of the incorrect product, and in all cases of failure to communicate on the part of the customer, the first delivery shall be deemed tacitly accepted. Should there be price discrepancies between the product ordered and the one mistakenly received and not returned, a refund of the difference will be offered.

The right of return as described in detail in point 3.1 remains guaranteed.
